Not that Im complaining about the price now... It was a very rough year or so paying over $3 per gallon.

Gas at the On-Cue on 15th and Air Depot was $1.64 last night :horns2

Same gas station is down to $1.60 today

Expect prices to stay low for a while...

Remember, the reason they have dropped this much is lack of worldwide demand. The reason for the lack of worldwide demand is the global recession.

OPEC can't really afford to lower production and thus raise prices - at least, not much. If they do, they will either delay a recovery from the recession or will worsen it. Either way, no one will pay, and economic expansion will not get started.

If OPEC wants $80 or $90 dollars a barrel, they have to know that the markets can afford it. And the markets can't afford it if they can't recover. And they can't recover if oil prices rise too much, too soon.

The bad news, of course, is that "cheap" gas will reamain only so long as the world economy is in the crapper...
