Gas prices in your area?

I needed gas went gave the clerk a twenty.

Here is the weird part.. I filled my car and the clerk.... handed my back some money... I just about had a heart attack .

 
Gas was at $1.99 here in Des Moines earlier, but the news said don't get used to it. I guess that means they are obviously going to go back up soon.

 
I topped my Tahoe off at $2.54 a gallon in Louisville CO. Was thrilled to pay $37.00 instead of $67.00 but after reading all your guys posts I'm still paying to much!!!

Just paid $2.659 at Costco..Usually 5-15cents/gal cheaper than anyone else out here.

I mentioned to the attendant what some of you are paying, and he said he'd heard that too.

Also said I should've waited until tomorrow, but I was on fumes.

I wonder if GW has anything to do with this <_< .

Making folks ('specially in the Red? states) temporarily forget how bad it is... just before the elections??
