Gerry with another great game

Nate is quietly putting together a phenomenal season. He had 7 solo tackles tonight and the two INT's.....not bad.

Really think he is putting up AA numbers. The competition stepped up today and so did Nate.

Has to be the best game of his career. He's really stepped up his run coverage in a huge way, and it was great to see him finally get the big plays he's been inches away from all season. Way to go Nate, sorry we weren't able to pull out the W with the elite play.

Besides the one play where the stiff arm put him on his back he played great.

That Clement stiff-arm gave me flashbacks of Madison 2014. Otherwise, it was a solid game by a player I've been highly critical of. I'll eat some crow today.

That stiff arm was nasty...... no doubt.
Really hope he learns from it and tackles legs next time!

He did very, very well tonight. Putting together a great year! I have been critical of him in the past, but he is playing his tail off and leading this defense!

Most guys wouldn't have even been able to get in position to make any play.

I said at the beginning of the year that Gerry was an AA caliber player. Glad to see his numbers reflect that. Hope he gets the honors he deserves.

Also big shoutout to Bando. He was flyin' today. Huskers defense was gashed a few times, but made a lot of impressive stops. Swarmed all over Clement.

Nate Gerry is just a BEAST. The guy had two interceptions. I’m just going to say, he walks around like a bad A mo fo and I love it- Adam Carriker on Gerry after the Wisky game...
