The great thing about this game is that the huskers have everything to gain and Mizzou has everything to lose. Im picking Mizz to choke in Lincoln again this year. Of course, it could also be sending lambs to the slaughter....

i would argue NU has plenty to lose. 3-2 with TT, KU, OK still to come puts a winning season in some jepordy.

JHawk, something that i know is hard for you to understand in football is pride. Pretend its basketball season and KU has been down for a few years. THey havent really reached thier goals for sometime and you are trying to bring the program back. This season feels like the start. The National media that has been down on you is now taking notice. You then drop a big game and have big game against a conf. foe why is #3/4. A win propels you back. A win drops you to possible obscurity for another year. Tell me again how NU has nothing to lose...

 
no offence missouri but when i think of nothing to loose i think of that movie the replacements. Where there all getting fired the next day so the fist play the go out they just beat the crap otu of them. Just throw them on the ground and start kicking and punchin them. How many penaltie yards could one team rack up. So when you say nuthin to loose should we attack chase after the play is blown dead.

 
I think if the Offense can control the ball and keep the Mizzou offense off the field and not have any turnovers they can win.

 
Mizzou fan realize that for NU this is a rebuilding year. They wont drop into obscurity if a first year HC has a bad year. If they have a bad season next year, then yes they might go down the tubes, but mizzou has a #4 national ranking, Big 12 title hopes and even national championship hopes. All NU wants to do is beat the crap out of your tiggerz and my hawks. You will see what pride means in Lincoln and at Arrowhead :box
