Gimme some crow

The only person who should be eating crow right now is SE.

I think Gebbia is a GREAT qb for the type of offense Frost runs if this happens is why I bring it up

I said the same thing today.  Gebbia is EXACTLY what Frost would want for that offense.  Mobile, an athletic semi-run threat, laser accurate on short passes with the arm to throw deep when a guy is open.

No to Diaco...his D was fine today and I don't think he's the worst D coach ever (see Banker) but give me a guy that is aggressive on D. A guy that blitzes and mans up often. You may give up a big play here and there, but I'd take that over being passive and letting the other team set the tone. Set your own tone for goodness sakes.

Exactly right! JD/Tyjon would thrive in that offense with Stan a deep threat at all times... Oh man

Would love to see Gebbia get some series. I thought he looked quite good considering he was playing with 3/4s vs 1/2s in the spring game.

Would also like to see him keep his redshirt for the next coach.

A quick screen inside the 10? The coaches consistently put the players in bad position on offense today.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought this was the biggest WTH. That bubble screen you have to go deep if a corner comes up. You can't throw deep if you're inside the 10, plus it was just high risk for not really much reward honestly.

In fairness Diaco's guys were the highlight of the day. They were awful the first two games but kept us in the game today.

213 yards and 7 points. Pretty good.

I'll eat some crow on Riley. The first halves have been a disaster all year and most of Riley's tenure. A quick screen inside the 10? The coaches consistently put the players in bad position on offense today.

I'll be interested to go back and watch the game.  I kind of got the feeling that they weren't particularly aggressive after they got up 14-0.  Like they were content to not screw up like we'd done and see how long they could wait it out.

Once they got behind and got aggressive, they went down the field in a hurry and scored.

Defense played well over all but they sure turned into a wet paper bag when it got to crunch time.
