A person was swimming when a Great White came up and ate the swimmer. So violent was the attack all that remained was a severed hand that washed ashore and was found by a person looking for diamonds. :blink:

2. Was the had severed by an animal after an accident that trapped the "owner" of the hand?

3. Was the hand clutching anything; i.e., was there anything in the hand?

Sorry I answered this one wrong. The hand was not severed by an animal but there was an animal involved. ;)

I'm going to edit my response post above so people aren't confused...

 
It almost sounds like the stones were crack that a junkie had dropped and were looking for. An animal had eaten them and went crazy and gnawed it's hand off. LOL

At least I can be creative. :P
