Glenn the juice...

kind of like the 1-2 punch that USC had last year
how nice that would be...might be a couple more years though till we can compare them to the bush/white 1-2 punch...although these 2 guys both remind me of them when it comes to potential/size/speed/athleticism...

I know a guy that's at every practice, and said that Glenn just looks so good right now. He's big, powerful and really learning nicely. Lucky is still learning and has incredible speed and could emerge on top, but right now Cody is the clear cut #1. Leon's a bit behind both of them because of the position changes.

I think we are going to see some great runs out of these guys and it's going to be good to see Nebraska with some depth at that position. So if one guy gets tired the next guy is just as dangerous!!! :thumbs

i like how cally is determined to improve the running game......it will make Taylor even better......i see a nice rotation between Glenn and Lucky setting up.....fresh legs all the time is a great weapon/tactic to have....should be fun to watch

FWIW...I just talked to one of my friends from high school who is now on the team...he thinks that Cody will be the starter just because he is such a hard runner.

Based on that...Glenn pounding away on opponents' defense during the 1st half could be a BIG contributing factor to a Lucky or Jax smoking the D in the 2nd half.

Not sure if this would pan out, but sounds like a plan to me! :thumbs

Sounds to me like Glenn is having a great spring running against the #1's...while Lucky is coming along against the #2's.

as a fan i am for whoever works the hardest to earn the position. as of right now c-train is working the hardest and hitting the holes as hard as he can. a bruiser with speed.. like ahman and co.. are my favorite style of RB's.

As much as I like pure speed, cutting, and acceleration, it's hard not to cheer for the 'dinosaur of the program' that is the kick your *ss and knock out your teeth power back that NU has seen so much over the years :thumbs

You know, we're fortunate to have a good stable of RBs. I'm hoping that the OL opens some holes this year so that Lucky and Leon can work their magic. We just didn't have any blocking last year to help our RBs. Cody doesn't need an openning....he just kinda creates one :)

I like that Callahan is stressing the running game. I would like to see us bowl over teams again.
