Glock 17 Gen 4 9mm

So I think I have finally decided on this to be the handgun I finally purchase. I stopped in Scheels and got to compare the older Gen model to the Gen 4 and I like the grips much better on the Gen 4.

Can anyone elaborate what the major differences would be on the 19 or 23 models etc?

I can't elaborate for you, but I can say that I own the 17 gen 4 and I love it. Good feel and no problems. I've put about 3-400 rounds through in a short amount of time. Great gun.

The 17 was reccomended to me and I got to shoot the older Gen model and loved it. The Gen4 had better grips and was only like $40-50 more in price.

After some more research I discovered that the differences between the 17 and the 19 are the length of the handle/mags. 17 is the standard 17 round magazine. After I did about 3 hours of looking online this morning I finally said screw it and the wife and I went to Scheels.

Gotta tell yall, I got a hell of a deal. Price tag of $549.99 for the Gen 4 model I wanted. Walked out paying a tad over $550. Gun, case, 100 rounds. Signed up for a Scheels card and got $25 off for puchase over $500 and another $25 off for signing up for the card so Bam, $50 off right there.
