GO BIG RED!!

I'm a girl but that's ok... :)

just a girl who luvs her Huskers!!!
My apologies . . . Husker women are the best! Don't let 'em drag you down . . . you know we're right, and these Huskers are doing just fine!

GO BIG RED!!

If you think this Husker team is doing fine, Id hate to see what bad would look like, or for that matter what good would be............Youre Crazy :asshat

Even BC has come out and said we're not where we should be in year 4 and this year's team is not where it should be in the season. He knows there's a problem and I hope he's got a solution, but the team is not fine. I would say though that for every overly optimistic poster on this board there must be at least a dozen cynics who seem to derive their personal identity with Husker football. Funny too that both camps seem to think they're true fans and the other camp is not.

Wow, so much doom and gloom around here. I do believe that Nebraska is 4-2, and that isn't actually so bad.

Trust me on this one. This team is at a turning point. Next year, nearly all of the youngest and best talent returns for a new start and a year of experience. The coaching staff will have another year of experience (good and bad) under their belts as well. These ARE good coaches, but they've been dealt a difficult hand. Next year will be a clean slate.

The Huskers had serious personnel and identity issues when BC arrived. Those things don't disappear overnight, but he's been steady, stable, dogged, and optimistic. BC is a fine coach, and he will fix this thing.

Nebraska will win this Saturday against Oklahoma State, and win big. I'm guessing 48-13.

GO BIG RED!!
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter what that opinion is. My opinion is that Nebraska will win against OSU only by a last second field goal - something like 38-35.

"Everyone in entitled to their opinion"

One of the unfortunate consequences of a "free" society. Everyone has a right to be stupid too. (I am not referring to anyone here)

Okie state has a good offense and statistically there D is better than fizzouthat = fans leaving in the 3rd quarter our secondary + no pass rush = loss

you can say that we've lost to Mizzou and USC (both very good teams)

but who have we beaten?

Nevada,

Wake forest, (without their starting qb)

Ball State,

Iowa State,

maybe it's just me but that's less than impressive.

I want to believe what your sayin, I really do, but I dunno. Nothing I've seen so far makes me believe that we'll turn it around.

but I sure hope we do GBR

How much blow a person would have to do to even consider theorizing a woodshed victory over Okie Lite is simply ASTOUNDING. This is fermented Koolaide sprinkled with crystal meth and set on fire with a cigarette put out in it. Man, I'm sorry, I really am, but I promise you that even if the Huskers do manage to win––highly, highly unlikely––it will be by the skin of our teeth again. We've no defense whatsoever, and a defensive coordinator who couldn't stop a group of special ed fifth graders from putting up 400 on the Pinkshirts. Beyond that there is a total lack of motivation in any of them to play like they're a part of something bigger than the pro draft at the end of the year.

Our team is so far from 'fine' it's not even funny. Our program is a punchline compared to what it once was, and in terms of intangibles I'd rate us dead last in D1 ball. We've got no leaders, no spark, and no heart. The points on the board at the end of the Mizzou game are completely indicative of the true nature of the team.

Callahan has failed. Cosgrove is worse. Pederson is the root.

I say, uproot them all.

X

Let me try this one more time . . .

Nah, you've just gotten sucked up in all of this negativity. This team is fine. A couple of troublesome issues, maybe, but they are in fine shape. The rest of the season will be much better, I assure you. Remember, they have four wins and just two losses--and the losses came against top-ranked USC and Missouri, which looks to crack the top ten with a win over OU (I believe that one poll already has them at fifth). Nothing to be ashamed of.

I almost feel sorry for the Cowboys . . . they are going to get a butt-whuppin' on Saturday. This is a quality NU bunch . . . just give them time. They are firming up just fine. What you are about to see is the beginning of the Callahan era.

Nope nothing wrong here just my negativity and imagination that this is the worse Nebraska defense ever.
That's called, "overcoming adversity," my friend. After all of that, they are still 4-2!! Not bad, in my book. Fine athletes, fine program, fine coaching . . . let's just hope that the fans show some class!

GO BIG RED!
Apparently you didn't notice that we're 4-2 by the skin of our butts...

We almost lost to Ball St, almost lost to Wake Forest, and got it handed to us by Mizzou, but, we're going to put it on Okie St, 48 - 13...

REMEMBER KIDS, THERE'S NO HOPE IN DOPE!!!!!
In that case, we won the 97 national title by the skin of our butts. I guess we should just hand the Sears Trophy to Mechicken. Quit pouting , Frankies gone! Go Huskers! :w00t Lets turn this bad boy around BIG RED.

GBR!!!
They are not jellin. They are truly awful in nearly every aspect of the game. I wasn't upset when Solich left and have been supportive of what Callahan has tried to do but it obviously is not working out. I think it's over. After Missouri, it would take a miracle for Callahan to stay on.

I was counting on Callahan getting speedy playmakers on both sides of the ball, but we haven't had any gamebreakers or players the other team fears since Crouch won the Heisman. And why does Marlon Lucky always seem to trip and fall down all the time? Where is the balance after contact? It's like he's wearing big oversized clown shoes. Drives me nuts.

I'm still on the wagon.

NU has lost twice to rated teams...USC at #10 and 'zouri at # 11.

We beat Wake on the road and their only two losses were at #4 Boston College (10 points) and the 'skers. Signature win last night over Fl State that was #24. Looked at Wake's upcoming schedule and they may soon be ranked.

I'm not jumping off the wagon yet (but I did leave the watch party for the Missouri game early because I didn't want my prospective customers see a grown man cry!)

yeah, a Wake Forrest team that did beat a 21 ranked Florida State last night, and we will find out if Mizzu is for real tomorrow, and a Ball St team that took Michigan to the limits last year in Ann Arbor

LOL, Ball State took NU to the limits this year and Appalacian State did beat Michigan in Ann Arbor. Not to mention, Wake was playing the backup QB who had little to no gametime experience. Rather than worrying about what Ball State, Michigan, Mizzou, etc. do I'm more interested in how we play tomorrow. If we get blown out tomorrow, I'm afraid the party is pretty much over for this season.
