Just bought tickets to the Texas Tech game thru Ticket Hippo via Huskerboard. I'm officially going to my first game. Holy Land here I come!! :horns2 :woo :woo :horns2 :horns2 :woo

Section 37, Row 40. I know it's the North Endzone but who cares.

Staying at the Days Inn about 3 miles south of the Stadium. Hope it's a decent part of town. Reviews on hotels.com were pretty decent. :blink:

 
Congrats! You'll definitely be in for a treat.

No big deal about being in the north, I mean, hell, the stadium has 4 other big screens and ribbon boards aside from the huge screen that you will be able to turn around and see at any point :horns2

The Days Inn is in a decent part of town, no complaints there.

Yeah, you'll have fun. My brother and I are 'old folks' now (I'm 45, he's 50) and after 40 (yes FORTY) years of bleeding red, we both finally scraped up some money AND time and made a game last year. Once we sat down we wished we were 40 pounds LIGHTER each because them seats are VERY NARROW! GREAT experience, GREAT game and COOL to finally experience Memorial stadium, it was VERY red, VERY loud and husker-esque!

You will love it!!! We almost had to knock out a drunk fan that was butting into our conversation, but he was drunk... we were in a good huskery mood, and it all went fine after he left. On his own. I swear... ENJOY the game!!!! GBR...

 
I'm really excited about going. We tried to go last year but my wife was working a lot of overtime and getting time off for her was tough.

Just a word of advice next time... DONT BUY FROM TICKET AGENCIES, its an a$$ raping waiting to happen.

Check the Craigslists in Omaha/Lincoln... if you dont see what you want for sale, post that you are looking and name your price. Those who can help will respond.

TicketExpress, Hippo... even Ebay, are a F'ing ripoff for fans and a scalpers wet dream.

Glad you are coming to Lincoln though... prepare to party!! :wasted
