Like all the other Husker fans on here, I was loving the offensive prowess yesterday. However, what remains to be seen is what happens when a defense with a pulse is on the other side. The team has yet to face any real defense yet. I can only hope and pray that the O-Line continues to gel and team chemistry goes into high gear, (and our young defenders learn from all the early mistakes). I will reserve judgement on the offense until we see a real team. Washington's defense was Cosgrovianly horrid coming in (like the Okie-light game last year).
We will be facing some solid defenses in the B1G - Beck will have to earn his paycheck this year and I think he might just get us over the hump, and this youth movement early will pay off down the road.
