With the Pelini regime coming to an end I thought it would be appropriate for us to have a thread dedicated to goodbyes

But, if he is gone i'd say:

"Thank you. You came in and got this thing turned in the right direction. You did a great job in that and i am grateful. You may feel slighted by Nebraska fans, but i will always hold you in high regard and you will be an important part of a program steeped in tradition. I think you will be seen as a very important bridge between decimation and a soon to be rise to the top again. Without you as that bridge it wouldnt be possible. I thank you, respect you, and am so grateful for what you did for this program on the field, in the classroom, and off the field. I wish you all the luck and success in the future and hope to see you across the field soon in the NC game."

I think if he truly looked into the mirror and was totally honest with himself and let his ego and guard down, he would admit he got in way over his head with this being his first HC job.

Honestly it may not have been fair to him that we hired him.

I don't know who of importance lives in south Lincoln, but there is a post on HOL that a lot of cars at at a house in south Lincoln.
