2013 Minnesota Golden Gophers Schedule - Opponents' 2012 results in parentheses

UNLV (2-12)

@ New Mexico State (1-11)

Western Illinois (3-8 FCS)

San Jose State (11-2)

Iowa (4-8)

@ Michigan (8-5)

@ Northwestern (10-3)

Nebraska (10-4)

@ Indiana (4-8)

Penn State (8-4)

Wisconsin (8-6)

@ Michigan State (7-6)

As I see it:

Probable Wins: UNLV, NMSU, WIU, Indiana

Toss-Up: Iowa, San Jose State

Probable Losses: Michigan, Northwestern, Nebraska, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State

So I think at best 6-6 and at worst 4-6 but I was wrong last year.

You were pretty close with your prediction last year. Which seven or eight wins do you see for 2013?

I could see probably 7 wins this year. It's conceivable to think they COULD start 5-0. After that, they should beat Indiana for #6 and Penn State or Wisconsin could be #7.

I bought season tickets this year to the Gophers. Partly because I wanted to guarantee seats at a better price for the Husker game. But also the home schedule also has Iowa, Penn St and Wisconsin. So not a bad deal.

It is a very beautiful stadium to go to and I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. And tickets are affordable. AND THEY SERVE ALCOHOL!!! I am looking forward to attending. Of course, winning would help put more people in the seats.

6-6 is going to by my guess. My gut wants to tell me 7-5 though, with the win over San Jose State.
