i'd say you're pretty spot on. maybe a little low on the rush yards. I think he'll have his step back, putting up at least 4 100 yard games. (someone will need to take some carries from Rex and I'm not as confident in ameer as some) He'll easily find another 550ish in the other 10 games. I know he did his freshman year but dont remember him being that bad last year, in fact i remember him getting hit so hard i wondered how he hung onto it. Even if he has your 7 we would be in trouble 3 4 would be understandable, anything over that and it would be a problem.

Completion: 65% I think Beck helps him out here with lots of short to intermediate passes like the Northwestern game.

He does anywhere close to this and we are Big 10 champs. Winning our division will be the hard part, then we will just have to beat Wisconsin....again.

My hope is that Taylor's carries and therefore yards are down significantly! My thinking is if his carries are down then it's because his passing is better and the offense is much more balanced. Also would mean the o-line is much improved to where we just plug RBs in and continue to motor!

Another reason for hoping his carries are down is to keep him healthy and god for bid we blow some teams out and get his backup a bunch of reps!

7,648 yds total offense (2nd All-Time - 267 behind Crouch)

Stats aren't everything but that's pretty impressive.

I bet that "if" Tmart's gap speed is really back (I see DaSkers indicating it is whom is almost always gold, among many others) he rushes for over 1,000 yds easily. That, by itself, would be a huge additional serious weapon for our offense and with the young road graders coming on line.....well, it could really be something. Again, if he's got the warp 7 ready to roll there's zero chance Carnes, Armstrong, etc is going to beat him out. Sorry haters.

A big part of his passing numbers is dependent on our WRs somehow not dropping so many passes so who knows regarding yds, ratio, TDs? But oh boy.........Reed, Turner, Cotton, Bell, etc....wow. It could get wild in a big, big hurry. Just catch the ball compadres'. Don't worry about the flashy moves after completion. Just c-a-t-c-h the ball.

I think Beck is going to send many Big10 DCs to AA rehab soon.
