Graduated Transfer QB Thread

So Allen has to sit a year but Knight is eligible right away. That's what I am reading. If so, I wouldn't mind Knight as option next year. POB redshirts and we have Knight and Tommy.

Martin may be eligible for a medical redshirt. If he gets it, he may go to a D-II school as he'd have three years to play two. But he's still considering walking on here.

As far as I can tell, A&M's problem is that they brought in two 5* guys in a row, so someone's feelings are going to get hurt. And Sumlin seemed to be trying to please both QBs instead of picking one and going with him.

2015 class - Kyler Murray #1 DT QB

2014 class - Kyle Allen #1 Pro QB

Lots of talk locally about Kyle Allen coming back to Arizona (although I haven't seen anything from him about it). ASU is very weak in the QB class with their starting QB graduating, so I would expect them to make a big push for Allen. I think he got frustrated at A&M with his playing time and is looking for a fresh start; the article linked above is very honest about how badly the situation was handled by A&M. I would love to see the Huskers make a play for him.

Dear god, just say no! I don't know if there's ever been as hyped an NFL arm that's been as bad as Hacky at the college level.

If there's any way at all Riley could lure Allen to Lincoln, he should pull out ALL the stops. He'd be the most talented pure passer we've had on campus for a long time.

Looking over the JUCO All Americans there is a kid from MN...Nick Rooney that threw for a lot of yards and touchdowns.

Coached against him in high school up here. Not sure what schools are looking at him then and now though.

Kyler Murray transferring from TAMU as well now.
Kid was undefeated in high school I believe. Got to see him play in a semi-final game in Dallas. Fun player to watch on one of the best teams in the area. Too bad he is a dual threat, MR would probably pass on that.
