There was one thing I really wanted to see yesterday, and that was consistent effort. Playing til the whistle blows.
Week one vs. BYU there were questions in this area. I noticed and other fans did as well.
This thread is to acknowledge that the effort yesterday was evident and noticed by many fans I've spoken to already. This team must have made it a clear goal this week.
Effort is one of those things you can see, regardless of the competition. It's also very easy to spot when a guy is not playing hard. I thought in this game, we were flying to the ball,finishing plays, and bringing a higher level of aggression.
We bring that level of effort each week, regardless of the opponent, I think we have the talent and execution to compete with anyone on our schedule.
