Thanks for sharing this! Currently listening to segment 5, and hearing Tom Banderas give insight is the most interesting. How Josh told him he learned more from Trent Bray the last offseason than the entire past two seasons combined....crazy.

Yeah, I don't believe I'd heard Tom Banderas interviewed or participating in something like this before, so it was good to hear his unique perspective (former player and parent of current player).

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I can't listen to their show in real time so I try to remember to look over their podcasts for interesting topics or guests. I was just going to listen to one segment, and ended up listening for three hours. Good stuff.

I listened to this live the other day. I got more out of it tonight listening to the Pod Cast. It was interesting that Nick Bahe's comments about Tom Bandaras commenting on the previous and current staff. He didn't think it was a good idea, however, I don't think he said anything that was out of line.

Tom was pretty critical when he talked about Pelini micromanaging everything with a "Hulk Smash" attitude. But I didn't get the impression it was a secret he was exposing. I think within the program people were pretty well aware of what was going on. And anyway, keeping stuff like that secret is the first indication of dysfunction.

I didn't catch any of Bahe's comments.

Benning has become a total stooge.

They are so predictable in their agenda, it's not even amusing anymore. Banderas should count himself lucky that "hulk smash" gave his kid another chance after the bike incident.

Heh, I guess anything is bound to bother somebody. Sharpe & Benning are a good listen for me, and this looks like an interesting table. Of all the voices around Husker football, Damon is one of my favorites, actually, so thanks for posting!

It's funny because I know people that are enthusiastic Riley supporters and some that are super pro Bo (cm husker), both think Benning has an agenda against their guy.

I personally don't find him entertaining because he does a lot of talking without saying much of anything. If he has an agenda it's that he's pro-Nebraska. That seems fine by me.

ive got no problem with Bo keeping Bando on the team for snagging bikes, I mean if the almighty DR Tom can play some of the guys he did after what they pulled this is no biggie.

I have no problem with it either. Just wonder why Banderas is going to go on the whining offensive now.

What I do know is that the whole"I leaned more as a JR than in my first two seasons" argument is specious. Because most kids make their big jump around that time. That's when 85% finally figure out how to take coaching at the college level (and the kids in front of them have graduated).

very true, it takes a little time to learn HOW to learn. imo. and sometimes you can have 10 people show you the same thing and really only fully understand a few.

.....predictable in their agenda, it's not even amusing anymore.....
