Grixby or Thenarse

I pose a legit question. Grixby or Thenarse?

I have watched Grixby get roasted by almost every team we have played. They key on him or his side because they know they can manhandle him physically.

Honestly , I think you put in Thenarse and let him cut his teeth. He is tough and talented. Definitely wouldnt get pushed around on the field the way Grix does.

I agree Jones has got schooled several times too. I guess I am hoping that he will get better with more D1 experience. Grix has a lot of heart. at 5 9 he just gets abused . Im not trying to fix the defense, just posing a question about a specific position. Look at R. Smith at OU. He and Thenarse are comparable IMO.

coaches i am sure are playing the best we have....trouble is right now we don't have sh#t for dbs.......end of story

 
There's a reason corners are some of the highest paid people in the NFL. A true lock down corner is worth his weight in gold. Too bad there are so few.

 
I say Thenarse. Get him some pt, so next year and future years he is dominant because of getting as much time early as possible. He has a ton of talent imo.

 
Thenarse probably will be a better corner than Grixby and might be better now. All though I think he was brought in as a safety. He must not know the defensive schemes or he would already be in there. To throw him in there when we are still fighting to win the North would be a big mistake. What good would it do to have him get burned and maybe cost the team a game.

I can't remember the player, a db that gave up that pass against Texas on a fourth down with 15 or 20 yards and all we had to do was hold there for the win. It was Ricky Williams last year at Texas. He was a good db but the next year he didn't start, coaches said he lost his confidence. Grixby is giving his all and needs a little more help from our safety's. I hope hes ready next year with Bowman, Dillard and who knows who else might step.

Give me Bowman over either of them.

Actually if we had anybody that could get to the QB all of our DB's would look better. That is the main reason all the guys from the past looked good is because they had DE,OLB knocking the QB down on every play. Put Ralph Brown on an island like the guys this year and he would have got burnt as well. Well maybe not Brown but any other CB we have had.

So why have we lost so much pressure on the QB. Was the loss of LeKevin Smith and Titus Adams more serious than we thought?
