this is the first time i have seen them live, but i have seen some terrible at bats tonight. has this been indicative of the entire season? i typically only hear the husker radio feed and they are "homers" so was wondering if this game has been characteristic of their recent offensive struggles. they look terrible tonight.

Well it didn't seem like this earlier in the season. However, the past couple games we have had some bad swings... Don't know why this is happening. Maybe they are trying to force things now.

 
Creighton is way more aggressive with their bats then we are. They don't stand there and watch the good pitches go by them, they'll swing at the first good pitch instead of watching it float on by. Huskers swinging at pitches way outside the strike zone. Our pitching is horrendous

To some extent I like waiting until you get a strike called, however if the pitch is dead center, swing and see what happens.
