GT: Nebraska at Penn State - 7PM - ESPNU

Biggs will set a Husker for record for tournovers, 6 agains Ohio St. and 4 tonight.

3/9 2/5 FT, 2 asst. & no steals. Nice line!

This is why we are trying to get that JC point guard out of ND.
Is he going to be that much better than the JUCO All-American in the first half of your post?

Assists to TO

Tai 41-35 (18 games)

Biggs 23-34 (15 games)

Parker 14-6 (17 games)

Ray 24-7 - I know he is the shooting guard, but maybe he should get a shot at the point.

I was going to say that we look like a street ball team, but at least street ball teams drive to the basket. We don't even do that. I sure wouldn't have a problem if some of those scholarships went to other, more deserving players in the future. With all of the money that has been invested in the program, now isn't a time to have a lot of dead wood.

I agree 100%!

You're 100% wrong. Huskers drive to the basket all the time, and usually 1) turn it over 2) miss a lay-up, or 3) Get fouled and miss the free-throws. Sometimes when they realize that it doesn't work out, they chuck up 3's. There's not much of a gameplan otherwise. This game was awful. Penn St. looked like a high school team. Nebraska looked like elementary school students playing basketball during recess.

I wasn't pleased with any of our point guard play,'' Miles said. Biggs, Tai Webster and Benny Parker combined to shoot 3 of 12 from the field and committed seven turnovers to four assists.

This is the biggest problem. We are competing with no real big man. Webster is a freshman who has not caught with the speed of the game & Benny is too short to be a scoring threat in the Big Ten & Biggs was brought in here to sure up this position & he is the biggest disappointment.

Well that sucks. sMiles still has his work cut out for him.
