I know this isn't breaking the dyno, but this is what happened at TX2K13 this year. Mullet, the owner of this Twin Turbo, Supercharged Ford GT40 broke the straps! Luckily they stopped him before himself and many others got injured!



I am sure that Dyno break made some marks on that GT500!!!

Wow! There's just no way in hell I would stand in front of that thing. I mean, the wheels are probably going 150 mph. I wouldn't be too crazy about standing behind it either. :lol:

I have been at quite a few dyno pulls, and I am with you on that! You will never catch me behind or infront of the car. Just too many dangers. Like this one, or the video in the OP. Its not worth it, besides, I like to watch the graph and see the gains more than watching the car rev up lol.
