It's rare but it has happened. The immortal ( :sarcasm ) Wes Fesler went from OSU to Minnesota in the early 50s. I can't think of a Big 8/12 coach who has switched in conference either. I don't know if there is just a gentlemen's agreement between the schools or that there really hasn't been a real opportunity where a school wanted another school's coach bad enough to take them.

Don't forget that Schembechler was an asst under Hayes at OSU before going to Michigan.

All i know is if i EVER see another thread regarding the possibility/speculation of Bo leaving, it'll be way too damn soon. This is making me want to dig up the Martinez rumors just for a change of scenery.
