The "regular" option (2 players).   Not like what the service academies currently run (3 players).  When we gave to the fullback it was usually the pre-determined play.  Not a read.

And we ran a power running game with the option being part of it.  :shrug:   

Osborne ran pure triple option with the fake fullback give in the 80s. As his offense progressed, it became more of a speed option between the QB and I-back.

We still run the triple option, they're just different options.
