FWIW I noticed a big difference in Michigan in game 1 vs Utah. Defense played tough and looked a bit more athletic. Running game was solid. Their QB did them no favors in that game and could have beat Utah. As a Buckeye fan, the Michigan game worries more than the MSU game at this point.

This looks like a perfect hire. The defense is just plain nasty. The recruiting classes will probably be top 15 almost every single year. The offense will be ball control and beat you down.

I said it before...they only lose one more game this year.

Brady Hoke had Michigan winning a BCS bowl game in year one. I will reserve judgment for a couple of years.

Also, Hoke had some very good recruiting classes.

Hoke's first year they went 11-2 Including beating Notre Dame and Ohio State as well as winning their bowl game. Then people figured out how to play against him.
