Hard Knocks to feature the Bengals

missed it, can anyone upload some of rex's highlights or just highlights from the game?
You know there is this thing called the interweb. You should check it out some time.
why? no one has uploaded highlights yet so i'm requesting it
I am not going to get in a pissing match with you, but how hard is it to check NFL.com or ESPN.com or any other sports website? People want things handed them to them way too often.
if i didn't check then i wouldn't make a post about it. the fact is right now, there is no highlights of burkhead's runs against atlanta out there and im just simply wondering if anyone who recorded it would upload it.
Even if I did, I wouldn't "hand" it to you. Build some character and DVR it yourself next time. No free rides. What would Rex think?

The other stable of backs didn't do anything eye opening. Rex looked great tonight. Its going to be fun watching him progress and I for sure will be watching Bengals games this season. I hope they start throwing to him too and loved the great tackle tonight on special teams.
I wouldn't get your hopes up, Rex did about the same as the other backs he just saw more touches. I honestly don't know what to think since he was the 5th back out, at this point unless he stands out in the next few games there's a good chance he could get cut.
He won't be cut. He signed a 4 year contract for a little less than $2.3 mil. I agree that he won't be featured out of the crowded backfield this year, and unless there are significant injuries, at best he will get garbage duty on occasion. He might see some punt returns, but mostly special teams work in his rookie season. The Bengals signed him right away. So they know he is worth investing in and seeing what they can get out of him in the next few years. Keep the faith up,,,I'm sure Rex does.

From reading the bengals.com message board it seems like their fans think that Bernard Scott is the odd man out. Then it comes down to Rex vs. Boom Herron. They could keep 4 active or practice squad one of them. But who knows.

:yeah A lot of talk from Bengals fans about how he really stood out and jumped off the screen - granted, against 3rd and 4th (5th and 6th?) string competition, but hopefully he gets some earlier reps.

I live in Cincinnati, and Rex is getting virtually zero mention on the local sports radio programs. I'm not a Bengals fan, but I do tell the Bengal fans that I know that he was the steal of their draft. However, they seem enamored with Benard at the moment.

He led all running backs (both teams) in rushing yards in his NFL debut. I'm thinking he stood out just fine....
Right, but he also had the second most touches. I'm just being realistic, surprisingly the Bengals seem to have a pretty good stable of backs.

I don't think we can consider that his NFL debut. His televised NFL practice debut maybe.
At the time he went into the game he was playing against other players that were literally fighting for their careers.... That kind of desperation would lead to a very competitive environment, hardly a practice.... Now was he going against the best of the best, no he wasn't....

Apollo Creed died during an exhibition.

See what some HB members think first. Also, I never knew not owning a DVR meant I have to build some character. Teach me more.
I was totally kidding and on your side here man. I don't own a DVR and wanted to see the highlights of Rex, too. I was poking fun at the other guy talking about people expecting things to be handed to them.

I think his pass-pro is something that's going to help him get a spot. He had a few nice blocks. One in particular - he lined up right of the QB in a shotgun and picked up a blitz left of the left tackle - not many NFL running backs make that block. Not something that gets talked about a lot, but make no mistake, his coaches noticed.
