...Wow

-We have NO 1-AA teams on our schedule

-A early road game against a Top 25 team, I looked at their roster and they dont lose a whole lot it seemed

-Return home and play a top 15 team

-Mizzou in Columbia

-Texas in Austin

-Colorado in Boulder

-No Byes until Colorado

Wow those are 5 monster away games we go scheduled for next year. There are only 2 games on there I can truely just say we will win other than that nothing is for sure.

I can't access this link from work but it's on another forum and the poster said our 2006 Schedule was the #1 toughest in the Big 12 and #11 in the Nation. If you can access, you might check it for accuracy.

Yeah, next year's not going to be a picnic. We play 3 of our final 4 on the road, but it looks like we play 5 of our first 6 at home, so that's good.

certainly looks intimidating. But teams change. Wake doesn't have a lot of seniors, but they may loose some others who decide to go early. Also, USC looses Jarrett i believe and he is really the one that killed us this year. On the road to UT is more or less the same as if it were here - a likely a loss. We also will get OSU, A&M and KSU at home.

i say lets get through spring and summer and see where everything stacks up before we start worrying too much.

The home games early should help the team gel together. We can't take any of our nonconference games lightly. Plus the Big 12 is stronger IMO.

Yeah, definatly looks harder, but we should be better also, especially in the secondary. The plus side of the harder slate, is more respect if we can win all of them, or put us in a leading possisiton as a 1-loss team at trhe end.

We will be better next year then we were this year, but we have to get through this year first. I don't want to jinx us or anything!!

This is good that we are having a tougher schedule than this year. It will be a good test for the team and I think they will handle it just fine.

Jarrett is a Jr., so while its fairly certain that he leaves, it is up in the air.

If this team wins out, and early success with next years schedule...... Man oh man it could be some goooooooood times

It looks like a very tough go of it next year. I was wondering about Wake F, also. I don't know what they have coming back next year. I won't say Texas is a sure loss for us. The teams I worried about are home games, Okl ST, K ST, so that helps. It all comes down to one thing for me. Can Keller master this offense next season. I know hes good but he hasn't thrown a pass in game type atmosphere running the WCO. Wake Forest something about that game????????????? :dunno

GBR!!!

A lot of teams in the Big XII are on the way up, which means our schedule is probably going to get harder and harder each year. I like the idea of playing Wake next year too, that should be a decent game.

Personally, I think it's great.

Having 2 AA teams, and a relatively flimsy looking shcedule this year doesn't show how nebraska is.

Like someone's sig says: "To be the best you have to beat the best". And you can't have a wimpy regular season to earn that title.

Great schedule for a run at the NC. If we win out this year we should be ranked somewhere near 10-15 and then next year we can move on up like the jeffersons.
