NUance's end of August , Sunday 8/31:

  • Up at 5:30. Checked pool results.
  • Watched two episodes of Entourage on Comcast On-demand.
  • Breakfast: coffee, Pop-tart and slice of cantelope
  • Fed pets. Several new baby Koi in pond.
  • Practiced putting at country club for 45 minutes
  • Church with family
  • Lunch at Tex Mex place
  • Read a few pages of book
  • Nap, 45 minutes
  • Mowed lawn
  • Swimming with family, 90 minutes
  • More putting practice, 45 minutes
  • Walk in neighborhood while 4 year old rides bike, 1 hour
  • Fire in fire pit
  • Rocky Patel R4 with two doubles of Jim Beam double aged black lable
  • Roasted marshmellows with wife and kids
  • Cuban Monte Cristo. Another two Jim Beam doubles
  • Still basking in the big Husker win over FAU.

I'm conflicted on this one. It gives me immense pleasure to see him crying like a baby when he acts like such a tough guy on the internet. 25 to life just ruined this kid, but someone was critically injured from his actions.

I'd like to know why exactly they shot the targeted gamer's father though.

I have no idea about the gamer's father and he definitely should due time but yeah he certainly got sentenced all right.

Fire destroys Mack Brown's home

Labor Day weekend should have been a new beginning for former University of Texas head football coach Mack Brown who started a gig as college football analyst for ABC and ESPN. But Brown's fresh start turned south before the first round of games kicked off on Saturday. Last week, Mack Brown's house in Linville, North Carolina burned down.

Seventeen fake cellphone towers were discovered across the U.S. last week, according to a report in Popular Science.
Rather than offering you cellphone service, the towers appear to be connecting to nearby phones, bypassing their encryption, and either tapping calls or reading texts.

Scientists have unearthed the skeleton of a previously unknown, massive dinosaur species that may be the largest land animal ever found. The specimen named Dreadnoughtus schrani is exceptionally complete, with about 70 percent of its bones recovered. Scientists believe the creature, which lived about 77 million years ago, measured 85 feet (26 meters) long and weighed about 65 tons, heavier than a Boeing 737.
