Had a student come late to class with a pass from the office.

Me "Here's the quiz, get to work"

She "Oh I can't. I just came from the eye doctor. They dilated my eyes and I can't see."

Knowing the answer, I asked anyway. "OK, how did you get back to school?"

"Oh, I drove."

***Bangs head on desk***
