I learned having elite QBs such as Joe Burrow and Dylan Raiola can, in fact, help your football team be better at football.

I also learned Nebraska has held 3 QBs in a row to under 70 passing yards. Which is an absolutely insane stat. Especially since one of those QBs will almost certainly be playing on Sundays.

I said this in the game thread, but this is the most disciplined and focused Nebraska team in all 3 phases of the game in many, many years. I realize we have had 2 cupcakes in a row. Also, Cincinnati may be not as bad as some suspected and we dominated that game in all aspects except the final score.

The NFL scout Taylor Lewan ran into at the Cincinnati game said he was there for Cinci's QB, DT, and TE. Probably not the best showing in front of scouts, but there's a reason they're looking at him. He's been absolutely lights out outside of the Nebraska game.

There is a slight difference between having an NFL scout at your game vs “almost certainly be playing on Sundays”.
