Heard didn't travel due to injury

Bo Pelini said on Tuesday's Big Ten conference call that freshman running back Braylon Heard is questionable for Saturday's game with Ohio State.

Heard has an infection in his leg, and has swelling that must go down before he's able to return, Pelini said.

​

Heard did not travel to Wisconsin.

​

Bummer for Heard. Hope he gets that cleared up pretty quick.

a la Kenny Wilson a few years back, who dropped a TV while he had an infection in his leg, snapping his femur and never returning to football. He showed a lot of promise.
