The four for New York as:

White

Peterson

Bush

Leinhart

I have Reggie Bush winning it because he can do a milion things with te football.

Catch, run, speed, return, power, cutting ability. Best player in college football.

As much as I hate to vote for a Bush, I have to give it up to Reggie. The guy is just hands down the best athlete and play-maker in the country.

I am in agreement with you Eric on the 4 going to NYC. However, I think Jason White will win it again. Bush is the best athlete in the country, but he will be hurt by the fact he is a Sophomore. Peterson is awesome, but is a freshman and that hurts him. Leinart is going to lose votes on the west because he will split them with Alex Smith, Reggie Bush and Aaron Rodgers. There are no real competitors for Jason White in the midwest and south except for Peterson and most voters will vote for the senior over the frosh. Definitely a fun race to watch this season though!

You make some good points DJ, but I think the voters are still a little bent about Whites flame job at the end of last year - even though he was hurt - the media is fickle, and doesnt like to feel dumb. Although Whites numbers are better, and Leinhart didnt do much vs. UCLA, I still see it going to ML over JW and Bush/AP based on the reasons you mentioned above.

I voted for Peterson mainly because I want him to get it.

I'd like to see it go to a big XII player and I don't want White to get it a second year in a row.

My vote goes to lucky in 2007!!!!

My vote goes for Bush. 300 totals yards and a couple of touchdowns on the last game of the year on national television should impress quite a few voters.

I don't agree with Alex Smith getting it. He has similar passing stats to White and better rushing but simply doesn't play the same high competition.

Reggie Bush made a strong push in the end with that game against UCLA. Watch out

Well I think Bob pretty much nailed it. Was a pretty close race for 2nd. I was surprised that Bush slipped to 5th.

I was kind of surprised to see Leinart win by the margin that he did. I figured it would be a little closer with two sets of teammates in the top five representing two undefeated teams.
