k you found the one cloud in the sky..I'm thinking when they conducted this poll, they didn't ask aboot basketball. I don't know too many people who think the basketball program is headed in the right direction.
but the year before they had a pretty good year. Bowling even won a NC in 04. Volleyball did well in 04, etc. hate to burst your bubble, but you arent going to win it every year.Sorry to burst your bubble, but Husker Athletics didn't do so well this year...

Last year was the fewest number of Big 12 championships Nebraska has brought home since the conference was formed. In ten years of Big 12 play, we have 47 conference championships or an average of 4.7 per year. Last year we had one.
Prior to last year, Texas had a 55 to 46 lead on us in all-time Big 12 conference championships. Now it's 66-47.
Agree, for only having 1.8 million people in the state and still come in second place is quite pleasingNo, that's true.But we gotta stop giving up so much ground.
