I still think we shoulda played them, and i wouldn't have cared where. Big House, Memorial Stadium, High School Football field, parking lot....

Let's assume for a minute Texas does win out and plays Mizzou in the Big 12 Championship game. Does anyone think they'll beat the TAR out of them again? Mizzou did play their style in the 2nd half and put up a tremendous amount of points. However, was this because Muschamp called the dogs off a bit? What will really suck is if Mizzou beats them. Then, we have no one in the NC game.

thats why i kinda hate the conference championship game.....its a tough game that can really kill a team's drive for the NC because it's a HUGE loss so late in the season.......

Does the Nebraska rule (can't play in NC game if you don't make it to your conference championship game) and the OU rule (can't play in NC game if you lose conference championship game) still stand in the BCS?

I think the NE rule is still in effect. I think that was the big knock on Georgia not jumping OSU or LSU last year. I don't know about the OU rule. Depends on how big of a lead they have in the BCS and how bad they lose. If Texas is the clear #1 and stubs their toe on MU in a close loss in KC, do two teams jump them??
