Helu needs to start.....lucky is a receiver.

not to be a wise a$$, i said that last season.....Lucky is way over hyped.
This will be my fifth post (going back a year now) where I once more state that Lucky is a receiver not a RB. He has not the vision, the ability to follow blocks or the physicality to play RB. But he is really good in the open field and can be a great WR.

agreed rob.......he has never been decisive when it comes to hitting the hole......looks like he would be better suited on "Dancing with the Stars"........ <_<

Helu had a good game, but I don't think Lucky has had a very good oppotunity to show what he can do this year yet. The first two games our opponents have loaded the box, our line hasn't opened the holes. Helu has his size going for him, I think as time goes by Lucky will get his chances too, and the same people calling for him to be a receiver will be patting him on the back for being a good back.

All I am saying is give him a chance.

i say whichever back shows the most should be starting. right now that would be Helu, lucky stil can play a major role. he has the hands. and lucky could always perform better and get the nod to start again.

Next week I'd like to see Helu get most of the carries. I want to see what that kid can do, because I think he's got more talent than Lucky.

he should be the starter but our o-line sucks. watson should call stretch plays when lucky is in, and power runs when helu and castille are in.

I think Lucky needs to touch the ball more during a game to be more effective. I don't think they all need to be handoffs, but he should touch the ball at least 12-15 times a game. The guy has talent, he may not be a power runner between the tackles, but he needs to have his hands on the ball to make plays.

I also do not like the argument that Helu should start because he has been more effective behind this line than Lucky has. That argument, could mean a change along the o-line before a change in the backfield.

I watched the highlights and I'll say Helu looks shifty, quick, decisive and slippery --- the kid looks really good.

Nope. Senior. Enough chances. Stars don't mean anything. Done.
