Helu starting for the Redskins

why was helu an afterthought for the skins last year? i saw morris had won the job then didnt even give them a second look the rest of the season. i thought he did a good job his rookie year that he wouldnt just disappear his second year.

Injuries. He was put on injured reserve around week 3, if I remember right.

You are correct. He was put on injured reserve late September.

If he is 100%, which I think he is, he will have some quality time on the field. If he proves himself to be very worthy preseason, he could get even more playing time. He has a lot to prove to that staff, and I think he will prove what he needs to!

I am a Skins fan and I hope Morris gets the nod if he earns it but having him and Roy as a 1-2 is a nice luxury to have
