Henery on kickoffs

Wow, I didn't think he'd be rated that high, but the Eagles will definitely move the ball and he'll get plenty of opportunities.

Definitely surprised at how high that rating is, considering he's never actually played an NFL game yet. He's off to an awesome start in the preseason game tonight, though.

Didn't want to create another thread so I thought I'd put it here. Pierre Allen just forced a fumble that set up Seattle's go-ahead TD late in the 4th quarter.

Not to take away from what Alex did, but with moving the kickoff up pretty much all the kickoffs were going deep in the endzone or in Oakland's case out the back...but still :w00t

Is this something that has recently changed? I admit not paying attention to exactly where the ball was placed, but for some reason I always thought the NFL placement was further back than the NCAA.

It was moved to the 35 this year. It was 30 before. "...NFL hopes to reduce injuries during kickoff returns by reducing the raw number of kickoff returns."

Yeah, they just had a segment about that on sportcenter. Kickers love the rule change, but guys trying to make the league as kick returners and special teams players hate it.
