A big flordia fan at work well his wife is a big red fan. Soo he tells me hes watching the colorado - nebraska game last year. And when henry makes the field goal he jumps in the air and is high fiveing all his inlaws and whatnot. Brought a huge smile to my face. I will forever remember that moment when he did that cuz we were putting up the christmas tree. Anyways thats why i love college football and thats why i love this team. For your enjoyment the kick. Heres to another great BIG RED football season.

I thought we were screwed after Ganz took the sack and made it 4th and forever.

It was chaos at my house. We went from mad/angry/upset at our "for sure" loss to crazy excited. I also really like Hawkins' reaction once he sees the ball go through the posts.

Too close of game for comfort; but very happy with the outcome!

I will never forget that moment. It was my first trip to Lincoln since I was a tike, and took my younger brother to his first husker game. I remember thinking to myself how effed we were after Ganz took the sack, then Henerey makes the kick...the place just went nuts! Picked a damn good game to go back for.

 
Being at this game was amazing. The eruption from the fanz was like nothing that ive heard at a husker game(only been to 5). Great win for the team and coach and it helped out momentum into the gator bowlagainst clemson (glad i saw that one too). :nanalama

Most of the CU games in Lincoln are like that... CU plays to the end, gotta respect that. I remember one year they lost and some of the CU players were running off the field because they were crying over the loss. I never take CU for granted. But watching a WALK ON cinch the win that day was sweet sweet sweet... and then Suh rolling Hawkins for a TD, icing on the cake!

I have been to a lot of games since 2000 but that was one of the loudest if not the loudest i've heard memorial stadium.

 
After watching it again, I couldn't help but notice how we just did not put any pressure whatsoever on the kick, I guess we just assumed there was no chance at him making the kick and we played max safe on the play, grrrrrrrr. Oh well in that situation that is probably the wise move, he makes that kick probably only 1 out of 10 it was just his moment.

 
That's definitely a situation where you play it safe if you're Colorado. No doubt it's a pretty low percentage FG attempt, so if you lose that, well, it happens. Not to mention you still had 1:25 or whatever after the kick. If you play to pressure it, though, and we happen to run a fake and you lose on that...all bad.
