Wow, sounds like he is running good. The coaches and Herian have been pretty quiet about his progress . This is really good news.

I can't remember what he ran before the injury, anyone know? Either way, 4.6 isn't bad :thumbs

Yeah it's only going to get better...Herian could be in for a monster senior season if he works hard and trains till next season.

An electronic 4.6 Wow, if that is true, it is likely that he is running a 4.43 handheld, or somewhere in that area. Man that is fast for a guy his size.

Makes no sense to me either....I dont even think he would get looked at....stats from 2004 anyone? I know he was runs like a receiver and is a damn good TE but definately not proven enough to get attention to get drafted. IMO

:WTH

hope you mean that only because of his injury...because if his injury never happened, he would be a first day pick easily in this years draft.

His numbers in '04 were not bad for a tight end. Just remember that he made a name for himself off of the option pass his first two years. I would like to see how he does in the WCO for a full year and also see how well he runs before I admit he is a 1st rounder. Also, what is his blocking like? I've never really paid attention to it.

Yeah also realize his QB that threw to him in 04 was joe dailey, and I mean how inconsistent can you get...taylor is a HUGE upgrade for a guy like him...his blocking has never been that great.

disagree. Herian has always been a decent blocker, or he wouldnt have seen the field 90% of the time in the option offense. He played every down as a sophomore, and it wasnt just to set up the two or three times we play actioned off of that option.

You can't disagree too much, I mean all I said was that he wasn't that great at blocking...then you said he was decent. Not that great and decent can't be too far away from each other...
