Herian leaving school early?

Herian, was reportedly considering leaving school early to make himself availabe for the 2005 NFL draft. He likely would have been selected in the second round.

The injury is making him reconsider. Assuming he does return to Lincoln next fall, Herian will begin the season as the highest rated senior TE prospect in the 2006 draft class, assuming Virginia's Heath Miller leaves after this season."

 
I hope that he comes back. I think the injury will really hurt his round selection in the draft. With a broken leg, I don't think that he will be a day one pick.

 
Herian is a great tight end. I wouldn't look for him to turn pro with a broken leg looming large. Nowadays NFL teams go to the draft for replacements for starters all the way up to the last rounds. If Herian's recovery is unsure, I couldn't see Herian having a big payday in April. Best of luck to him if he does.

 
he's isn't physical enough or have all the skills right now as far as coming back to ball and using his body and catching passes over the middle to play in the nfl. Only reason he would leave is cause he's sick of these crappy coaches.

 
That's the thing about Solich, he gets a great tight end, but no one to throw the ball to him. It reminds me of a quote "Y'all got kool-aid, no sugar, peanut butter, no jelly, ham, no burger. DAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!" :)
