I make these often! I prepare them ahead of time, leave them in the Ziploc Bag and bake them when I need to.
Hidden Valley Roasted Potatoes:
2-lbs. Baby Red Potatoes, Quartered
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil Plus 1/4 Cup More
1 Packet Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
Garlic Salt
Pepper
Pour 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil in iron-cast skillet-(don’t use anything else!)
Put the iron-cast skillet in oven and preheat oven to 450 degrees.
****You want the oil hot when you put the potatoes in!
While the oven is preheating, put 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil in a Ziploc Bag and add the quartered potatoes.
Seal bag and toss to coat.
Add 1 Pkg. Hidden Valley Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix, zip bag and toss again to coat potatoes.
When the oven temperature has reached 450 degrees, add potatoes.
Sprinkle some garlic salt and pepper on top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the potatoes are brown and crisp.
