Hindsight is 20/20

How is Baylor a machine. What championships have they won?
They won a Big XII title last year, as I recall. They smoke good teams in their conference, if it wasn't for one mediocre performance against West Virginia (and before you say, see, every team has games like that, that was one game. Not a number of games each season), they're undefeated #1 right now. Baylor is certainly having a far better season right now than anything Bo has produced.
In one season, last year, they did more than anything Bo has done. Same goes for this year.
Undefeated #1. Who. Florida state is.
Actually, Florida State is an even better example. They were mediocre for most of the 2000s. They let their legendary coach go. Get Jimbo Fisher, 3 years, National title.
I'm still trying to figure out if you really just said Baylor is undefeated and #1.

I don't want to be where Baylor is. I'm a damn Husker fan.
"If it wasn't for one mediocre performance against West Virginia...they'd be undefeated right now."

I've been attempt to be patient, but, this is ticking me off. You know damn well what I said.

And you would rather be a 9-3 team with no ranked wins, instead of an 11-1 team with great wins over TCU, K-State, Oklahoma?
Yea u said that a machine lost to a mediocre west v team.

Don't get me wrong. I would love to be 12-0 11-1 right now. But we are 9-3 and probably gonna be 10-3 after the bowl game. But it's football coaching 18-22 year old kids. Any thing can happen.

Lmao. Baylor a machine.

That's a pretty bad logical fallacy to assume that firing Bo means we will obviously fall apart.

Of course there's a risk of that. There's also a chance we get a dynamite head coach that makes this program great again.

Yeah, and we've lost to Minnesota and Michigan State, and got absolutely pulverized by Wisconsin, and nearly lost to McNeese State.

And, what makes you think we're going to win that bowl game? Bo always loses 4 games.

Baylor would destroy us right now. If you don't think so, you're delusional.

I'm not defending him lol I don't know the man. I think however it's funny the criticisms t.o. received before going on to be successful. And now Bo is getting the same treatment from the "greatest fans in the world" I've seen more love in a broken home.

Briles also has the hotbed of Texas to fill a roster. Sure I guess you are right pres I would love to be where Baylor is. Oh waiti am already. And I'm still a Husker fan.

It's not about preference president we don't get to choose this reality. Buy the ticket take the ride, we chose this hiring bo
I full accept he's not getting canned. He should. I don't see how you can defend him anymore. We should buy his contract out.
Don't be too sure about that. If what I heard today is true, then he will be gone. But what makes me leary is that I heard the same crap last year, with the only difference is that he has lost the two people that saved his a$$ last year. If that is true, then we will have a new HC in a matter of weeks.

And we will be back to BC type of football. It's looking up now.

If they fire him it just shows the value of nebraska is changing. We want instant success instead of hard work sweat blood and tears

Can we stop comparing TO and Bo? People have a hard time with the comparisons so lets just use one, that does not use number of wins or losses. TO in 25 seasons he had a single season with a final ranking under 15. Pelini has a single season with a final raking above 15 (14) So while a season there might have been 'disappointing' they were also better seasons than anything we have had in over a decade.

Bo Pelini can't hold Tom Osborne's jock.

The difference was that Tom was beating top teams and was consistiainty in the top 10-15 every year. Bo has patheticlly easy schedules and can't beat anyone with a heartbeat and can't finsh ranked at all.
