Hire Crouch!

Five-Star Recruit
Someone get Eric Crouch in here and let him be coach! He would lead us to dominance! I say he comes in and overthrows Callahan in a bloody revolt. he crowns himself coach and AD and sends Pederson to the gallows while Callahan is to be banished from Lincoln forever! He turns the Red Secret Police loose on Callahan's staff and destroys them, subsequently leading to ultimate victory. He also totes his Heisman everywhere with him, reminding his subjects of his unstoppable option-attack. He will then lead us on a conquest to the evil palace of the Miami Hurricanes, in which he will force them to relinquish their 2001 NC trophy and rightly hand it over to the Heisman winner. GO BIG RED!

we learn nothing when everything goes our way, and life is easy. It's through adversity that we see who we really are, what we're made of...

interesting thoughts, but don't despair quite yet

Haha. Yea. Let's hire someone with NO coaching experience what-so-ever. :thumbs

I still like my Pat Berhns and Tom Jaworski idea.

:WTH What makes anyone think that NU is willing to pay off another bunch of coaching contracts?

Further, how much money do you think it will take to attract a QUALITY coach and his staff to come to a school that fired a 9-2 coach and gave his replacement just 3 years to succeed?

Just wondering..............

Obviously we can't hire anyone with no coaching experience, but some day I would love to see Scott Frost on the sidelines.

Another great one (if he had experience), would be Trev Alberts. He has passion and he loves the Huskers.

I hear he has trouble showing up for work though. :rollin

Here's an idea. Instead of donating the 38 or 39 million left for Pud's "vision". Let's all just donate to pay off the coaching contracts and hire an awesome AD. I won't be donating anytime soon to Pud's vision, but I'd be willing to kick in an extra thousand or two to buy out the AD and coaching contracts!

I have nothing against Pud's vision or upgrading the facilities at NU. However, I was under the impression every time I bought a ticket to a game I was donating. I also donated 18 to 20 thousand in tuition to NU. I think I'm about tapped out in terms of donating money to the program. Even though I feel tapped out, I'd still kick in a thousand or two to buy out the cancer that is growing excessively in the football department right now! What does everyone else think?
