Holiday offense

Did the Huskers take the foot off the offensive pedal in the fourth quarter? I think one of the announcers suggested that Bo might have held back a little after the touchdown pass to Niles. The respect between the Stoops and Pelinis might have been a factor. Some commentators on the radio today thought that we should have scored more on the Wildcats, but I think Bo wouldn't go there. Remember Bo's tirade against Snyder when his starters were in late in the K-State game back in '03?

Yes, Bo purposely pulled back.

In fact, Stoops acknowledged the fact that he knew that Bo held back in the 4th qtr. Stoops said that was part of the reason he didn't just kick the FG at the end. He wanted to give NU's defense a chance to "earn" the shutout if they could stop Arizona from scoring a TD.

No doubt, Bo called off the dogs.
