So with my recent scare with MRSA I've decided that I'm not going back to a large gym again and taking the chance of getting this crap again. I figure if I start my own home gym, then the only person using it will be the wife and I so the chances are pretty low I'll get anything like this again. Evidently my gym wasn't as clean as I thought it was. So what I'm asking is any of you that have a home gym out there, post some pictures of your gym and tell me what you've included in your gym. Don't be embarrased either, somethings better than nothing. I have nothing right now, but that's okay, I needed to take some more time off to stop aching from the gym.
What I figure I'll need is the following:
1. Power Rack
2. Bench (flat, incline, and decline capable)
3. Olympic weight set
4. Dumbbell's (probably gonna have to be adjustable, individual hex db's are way too expensive)
5. Lat Pulldown
6. Leg Press
7. Leg Developer (leg curls, etc.)
8. Basic Trainer rack (leg raises, pull-ups, dips, etc.)
9. Rubber Flooring
10. Cardio equipment
If you think I may need something else, bring it up please. I'm trying to do this with a budget around $2,500 to $3,000, but won't probably buy all the stuff all at once. Cardio equipment would be the last purchase, that's alot of cash so it's gonna be considered seperate.
