House Rhules podcast with Matt Rhule

I think it really depends how the next few years go and how hard the job is on him. If we are winning and recruiting at a high level, I could see him staying into his early 60s. If it is a grind like it has been for the last 10 years, he may move on sooner.

He would have stayed at Baylor. He liked it there. Son of a preacher. From what I kinda remember, 2 or 3 NFL teams were blowing up his phone on the regular. The opportunity to become head coach in the NFL and boat loads of money was just too difficult to pass up. It's not like he just wanted to go from school to school to school. It was the NFL that got him.

I think he's authentic.

In that way completely the opposite of Jirk Fairyntz. That guy (with the help of a compliant media) has crafted an image of himself which is the opposite of truth. An egomaniac who takes credit for what others have done. If a piano fell on him I would laugh.
