Sick as a dog. Have the full body chills and have a massive headache. Hopefully get a good night sleep and feel better in the mor- afternoon ;)

 
not great. this is such a huge game for the program, not because the game itself is huge but because the repercussions are huge

win and the program is on the right track back to the top

lose and it's a horrible loss that will take a huge effort to come back from

combined with the fact that we will likely get no credit from winning (and maybe little credit for beating Stanford in the Rose Bowl) and you realize how screwed we are regardless

 
What? I think we'd get a ton of credit for beating Stanford in the Rose Bowl, so I don't see how we are screwed in any way...

Nor do I think it would be a horrible loss for the program. Disappointing surely, but we're a team that you could say now consistently makes or competes for its conference crown. It would be more in the manner of losing -- a totally flat performance could be a big blow, but a competitive, well-fought game that ends in a L wouldn't be the end of the world.
