How do NU fans travelling to Penn St for game feel about their safety?

Weird, un-chartered waters here. We have a nice watch site here in Charleston with a good group of folks--I take some of my kids with me, but to be honest, thinking about not going and not even having it on at the house--never felt like that before, ever. I would be worried about safety of our players--I mean they tipped over a media truck--and that is sort of neutral territory.

Btw, I have gotten wind of some info from a reliable source that says there is much more in the way of new allegations and a larger involvement at PSU, but its been held until after this game, which is their last game for security reasons. I hope they wait until the Huskers and fans are on the place and have left PA airspace if that is true.

They're probably talking about THIS.

If found true...SH^& really going to hit the fan....

Osborn was mentioning the dimensions of the football field and the radio host said "except at Penn State where there is that little notch" - what's that about? Assuming a player was out of bounds in 2002 but ruled in?
I still hate Todd Blackledge to this day, even though he came out in public 2 years ago and stated his receiver was out of bounds. The 82 game

I was a sophomore at UNL that year. I have always remembered that we got screwed on that call and that it was a blatantly terrible call. I never thought it would fade but, after watching that again, I can honestly say I had forgotten exactly how bad it really was. That call in all actuality cost us a championship that year. Little notch my arse. The sideline moved at least a full yard for that call.

Talked with a friend on OPD, who thought that the PA State Police were going to send in about 200 extra troopers for the game.
200 xtra to control 110k people. Sounds a bit short.

I wonder if the administrations have considered playing the game without a crowd. I don't know if this has ever happened before, but only allow necessary personnel into the stadium for the game. Then have police escorts to and fro the airport.

It's not as though PSU painted the prophet muhammad as a monkey on the 50 yard line. terror will not reign down on nebraska fans during the game.

worst poll EVER. i'm sure you'd have gotten similar results prior to the Wisconsin game as well.

I can't imagine that any rational fans would express their frustrations physically toward visiting fans unprovoked but if a Husker fan says the wrong thing it could get nasty quick...and then again its never the rational fans that you have to worry about.
You apparently have never been to Happy Valley.
