How do we defend Va Tech's Taylor?

I have to say I'm not that impressed with Taylor. He just doesn't have enough other weapons around him to be dangerous. I think we'll crowd the LOS and force VT to pass. Taylor has a strong arm but isn't accurate.

 
Taylor isn't impressive at all. He can run, but that's about it. I watched part of the Georgia Tech game and I counted at least six passes where he had a man wide open, but either overthrew it or underthrew it.

Guard against the run and their offense will not be able to move the ball very well.

 
hopefully they same way Bo did against tech last year.

to me I think the guy from SJSU will be harder to defend against. the ones that can run and pass are scary. sjsu looked pretty good last week as well(not top 25 or anything, but decent). san deigo almost beat ND 2 weeks ago

 
I guess I should say the team as a whole is concerning. I tstill think they are a very good team and will be a handful for us. we will need to make just as much improvement this week and next as we did last week to hope to beat them.

 
I think if we have two or three big guys line up in front of them, with some really speedy kids behind them. Then all we would need is some really good tacklers in between the two of those. Let's call them.........line backers maybe? With 11 or 12 of these guys in different kinds of formations and we may have something!

Keep gap responsibilities and force him to pass. He kind of reminds me of Jamaal Lord. He will throw up a couple of "what the hell was he thinking" balls.

 
Stack the box, force him to pass, plan for the read option.

I'm good with the Man Spy plan, but mix it up between Safeties and LB's so he can't get a read on who'll be on him....

 
duh...did anyone else notice what their offense actually put out Saturday against GT? I am not worried about their offense. their paltry 240 or so yards yesterday was a joke.
