How many commits in the 2014 Class?

If it isn't obvious that we're really trying to find another defensive lineman for this class then you clearly haven't been following what our coaches have been doing.

I agree. It Looks like they are trying to fill a D-line, QB & maybe an O-line or DB. This why I wondered who else might be leaving.

This is who I believe is gone, or have heard talks of uncertainty (some may already be off list): Moss SO, Afalava SO, Guy SR, Walker Ashburn SR (Medical Hardship), Tyler Evans SR (Heard mentioned not sure he'd continue), Okuyemi SR (not sure here?), Vestal SR (not sure here?). Of courses grades are what they'd be next year.

We are definitely looking for another spot on the DL. I'd be surprised if we didn't add another one somewhere.

Frison is in if he wants. If not, I'm not sure we take another OL.

Then we're looking for an athlete who could play multiple spots if needed. QB if possible, WR if not but someone who could also move to DB depending on how things fall.

So 2-3 more spots, depending on Frison. More than that and there is probably someone else leaving/not going to make it.

Ashburn and Vestal have already been placed on Medical Hardship so they no longer count toward the 85. Afalava is almost certainly gone. I don't know if there is a catch in the rules but since Moss won't be on the team - or enrolled - this fall, I doubt he counts. It's been reported quite a bit that Guy will be gone as he's been here four years. Haven't heard anything about Evans or Okuyemi but it wouldn't surprise me if either are in the same boat as Guy.

But now we have a mystery recruit at the bball game tonight. Tubman with a last second visit this weekend. Boston confirmed late today. 6 guys for 4 spots. Some speculation floating around because we haven't heard anything from Lockhart or Stewart. Going to be a crazy end to this class. Just to unpredictable. Technically we could take 5 more and back count Darlington Cockrell and Keels to make 25. Would have to be losing a few more this spring thou.
