How many recruits do we get off of the Kearney little league world series team for football?

But none of you will be watching when they play on Espn next week looking for that lineman, Basketball player, running back? ( I.e. Danny wood head type) Cmon guys there is a defensive line man in that group.
The only thing I'll be watching for is which kid will cry first this year..
They are kids DT and they are playing on a big stage. Something I doubt you have ever done. First team ever from Nebraska. We should be prod of them. Give them their due, they deserve it.

First of all, little league baseball is a joke. They pitch from 46' which is what 9 year olds pitch from at USSSA. They can't lead off, etc. Its not even baseball.

Secondly,

I realize this, but my 9 year olds pitched from 46' last season. USSSA 12 year olds pitch from 50' with 70' base paths. Move those kids back 4' and they won't be throwing nearly as hard as ESPN makes it sound like they are throwing. Plus, at no point should a 12 year old throw a curve ball!!! Any coach who says otherwise shouldn't be coaching young kids baseball. This is why I can't stand little league baseball.

I agree. I don't think a kid that age should be allowed to throw curveball. I don't have a problem with a slider though.

Its not a matter of being allowed to throw them, its curveballs, sliders, etc. put so much stress on your arm a kid that age will screw up his arm pretty bad throwing those types of pitches at that age. As a baseball coach, I care more about my players future than winning a baseball game at this age. Changeups and fastballs until AT LEAST 14. I will allow them to start throwing curveballs/sliders at the end of 13 year old season/14 year old season to prepare for high school.
